That as a parent of a child enrolled at Brander Gardens
Elementary School, you are automatically a member of the school's parent
council? Our goal is to work with staff to create the best
learning environment for our children and to do that, we rely on as
many voices as possible. We officially meet once a month at the
school where we share information, voice any concerns and hear regular
reports from the staff.
The parent council leads initiatives such as casino
nights, hot lunch, book fairs and more. We buy technology for the
classrooms and help subsidize field trips throughout the year. We are a group of enthusiastic, committed parents but are always looking for ideas
and inspiration. Come to one meeting, come to many or be involved in other
ways--be involved in the way that works best for you.
